Dave Goldenstein, Chief Financial Officer

Dave co-founded GoldCom with his wife Karen on Jan. 17, 1990 and primarily handles the accounts in all contexts. From billing to vendor payments and payroll, Dave handles all of the accounting, and makes sure it all happens on time.

Dave enjoys spending time with his grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Dave Sonday, Customer Service

Dave joined GoldCom in customer service around 1996, selling voice, data and security equipment to contractors, government organizations and schools. He likes giving clients excellent customer service every day.

In his free time, Dave enjoys spending time with their wife and three adult children, as well as playing and coaching tennis.

Daniel (DJ) Goldenstein, Customer Service

DJ started with GoldCom around 2012 in customer service, but is also involved with the marketing and website sides of the business. He enjoys helping clients in many different areas of the business, including at the warehouse, navigating the website, working with invoices and more.

On the side, DJ is a volunteer firefighter for Mendota Heights, and enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Geno Loida, Customer Service

Geno started with GoldCom around 1998 in customer service, moving into a buyer role in 2000 and returning to the customer service team in 2015. He interacts with clients through emails, phone calls and in person and keeps the shelves stocked in the showroom. Geno truly enjoys the “firsts” at GoldCom – showing a client the showroom for the first time and making positive experiences for clients.

In his freetime, Geno likes to travel, try new foods and brews, spend time with family, and watch sports like soccer and hockey.

Jeff Hendrickson, Warehouse/Driver

Jeff joined GoldCom in 2008 as a warehouse worker and driver. He’s responsible for shipping and receiving, loading the van with orders and delivering them. Jeff enjoys how happy clients are to have orders delivered rather than having to pick them up!

Besides work, Jeff enjoys working on his yard and fishing.

Jeff Johnson, Warehouse

Jeff started at GoldCom in 2016 in the warehouse. He’s responsible for loading and unloading the vans, keeping products in stock and keeping the warehouse clean and safe.

In his freetime, Jeff enjoys spending time with family, fishing and being outdoors.

Jen Frenette, Administrative Assistant

Jen started at GoldCom in 2014 as an administrative assistant. She’s responsible for answering phones, greeting clients, handling billing and keeping all the boys in line! Jen enjoys being the first point of contact for clients when they call or come in!

In her free time, Jen enjoys spending time with family.

Joe Lee, Warehouse Manager

Joe started working at GoldCom in 2014, and was put in charge of the warehouse in 2016. He’s responsible for ensuring products are appropriately guided through the warehouse, and all paperwork is completed.

In his free time, Joe enjoys working on cars, amateur photography, watching sports and movies.

Sam Kovar, Purchasing Manager

Sam joined GoldCom in 2015, becoming purchasing manager in 2016. He’s responsible for ensuring enough inventory is available, negotiating the best day-to-day prices and making sure customer needs are met.

Outside of work, Sam concentrates of physical fitness, sports, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

Scott Goldenstein, President

Scott has been with GoldCom since the start on Jan. 17, 1990 and over the years has worked at every position at one time or another. These days he is primarily responsible for working with clients to learn exactly what they need. When not working at GoldCom, Scott can often be found at the Fire Station or spending time with his wife and family.
